When a contact (which can be a Lead, Prospect, or Client) first interacts with Legacy Architects, their view is in intake form mode.
This means that only the fields relevant to an initial pass at gathering data – what we call the "Client Details" bucket in the Elegant Data Model™ – appear to the contact working on the intake form. Additional fields that are not yet relevant, such as estate planning decisions related to their trust or powers of attorney, do not yet appear to the contact so that they are not overwhelmed.
As you need to check on the status of the intake form, you can go into the contact's record in Legacy Architects, and notice the "Locked" checkbox.
If the box is unchecked, this means the contact can edit their details at any time, whether in the intake form view or the client vault view.
If the box is checked, this means the contact has view-only access to their details. They will see an "Edit Request" button to submit an email request to the attorney to allow them to edit their data.
