How do I show or hide fields on the intake form?

Use the visibility settings page to choose which intake fields to show or hide and which to make required or optional.

The first thing we recommend you do upon creating a law firm account with Legacy Architects is establish your intake form visibility settings.

We have designed the default intake form to be a comprehensive gathering of all client details that we describe as being appropriate for the "Client Details" bucket in the Elegant Data Model™ training. (If you have not seen this training, please search in this help center for "Elegant Data Model" at watch the 18-minute training at your earliest opportunity. Once you do, many aspects of Legacy Architects will make more sense and connect more dots.)

This said, we know some estate planning attorneys like to ask fewer questions than every possible Client Details question we could think of.

To accommodate a way for you to "hide" desired fields from the intake form, we developed an area of your profile to establish the "visibility" of all intake form fields.

All fields are initially visible unless you proactively select to hide the field. If you ever want to go back to this default of all fields being visible, you can do that in one click.
